My motto for business is quite simple: integrity, honesty and trust- in all my real estate dealings. My clients are like gold to me. No one will work harder for you, whether you are seeking a successful sale or looking for the perfect home..While there are many realtors to choose from in the greater Phoenix community, finding one who has a very strong work ethic based on forging trust can be another matter. We only have one reputation; mine is the cornerstone of my success.
Being knowledgeable about local and national market conditions, current with our inventory and prepared to give you relevant, accurate information is how I operate. Whether you are new to our Valley of the Sun or a long term resident preparing to put your home on the market, I am prepared to give you the best information to make informed, wise decisions. I never lose sight of the fact that a residence is one of the biggest investments my clients make.
Lastly, I believe the relationship we forge as client and realtor should be enjoyable. If we work together, you may find that I possess somewhat of an unusual sense of humor. While the business of residential real estate is serious business, a bit of occasional laughter is advised.
Education and Training
Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude distinction 1983
Areas of Expertise
I have much knowledge of the luxury home markets in Estancia, Desert Highlands, Troon, Whisper Rock, Silverleaf and Paradise Valley. While I am happy to list or show properties throughout Maricopa County, my area of expertise is luxury golf course subdivisions.
Community Involvement is important to me. Whether it was in Minneapolis or, now, in Phoenix, I have always tried to support causes that help make our city and it's residents better. Organizations that help disabled children and adults are my primary focus, as well as providing safety and shelter for at-risk women and their children
Originally from Minnesota, I grew up on real estate in the Midwest. My father was a lifelong residential building contractor; as a teenager I worked on his crew. My mother has been selling real estate for Coldwell Banker for years and, in fact, is still working at the tender age of 85!
I relocated to Arizona approximately 11 years ago and have found this climate and the people much to my liking. While I miss the lakes and “up north” cabin trips from my years in Minnesota, I have found new and beautiful things to enjoy in the desert. We truly do have four seasons here and, to my delight, those warm cashmere sweaters come in very handy in January and February. Being a very avid golfer, I am thankful that our season is significantly longer here than in the north. My handicap hasn’t gone down but I still enjoy playing just as much!
I attended college in Minneapolis and graduated with honors from Augsburg College in 1983. Prior to practicing real estate, I worked in both market research and, later, as executive director of a private family foundation.
One of my specialties in real estate is working with buyers and sellers of golf course properties. In my very limited spare time, I really enjoy playing the piano. It brings me great peace and satisfaction.
